Jim Reid was named vice president, Customer Logistics US, in July 2015. In this role, Jim leads QVC’s Distribution Centers, outbound and returns transportation network, and drop ship and Product Central. Reid is responsible for executing strategies that better service QVC’s customers with greater speed and impact.
Jim joined QVC as Vice President, Distribution Operations in January 2013 where he was responsible for US Distribution Centers, engineering and resource planning.
Prior to QVC, Reid served 10 years at Toys R Us, most recently as director of eCommerce logistics, in which he was responsible for six domestic and seven international centers focused on direct to consumer fulfillment, as well as all outbound transportation to customers. In that capacity, Reid expanded the company from one US distribution center to six in five years. He also increased the company’s three international centers servicing customers in three countries to seven distribution centers servicing 12 countries in four years.
Reid also worked at the Home Shopping Network (HSN) as general manager of west coast fulfillment operations and was instrumental in the start-up of this operation, which remains a key component of HSN’s US network. Additionally, throughout his career, Reid has held numerous roles in operations, finance and client services and has extensive supply chain leadership experience.
Reid earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Northern Iowa. Reid received a master’s degree in business administration from California State Polytechnic University and a master’s degree in supply chain management from Pennsylvania State University.
