Chris Gopal is a results oriented, highly experienced supply chain and operations executive with over 30 years of experience in all aspects of the global supply chain across several industrial sectors.
Chris currently acts as an advisor and consults with both large and small companies to get results and solve problems, through innovating and improving business processes, developing and implementing supply chain strategies and technologies. As part of his portfolio of services, he conducts innovation and executive education workshops for companies to address specific problems and issues, processes and competitive models.
He has set up, innovated and managed all aspects of a company’s Supply Chain, Operations and Technology in a career that has encompassed executive line management and consulting across both large and small companies, as well as in several startups.
Chris has built and led both large and small teams, and executed for world-class results. In the services arena, He has built and run world-class professional services practices in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics and Information Technologies for major companies, and has helped develop new consulting methods and solution offerings. He is recognized as an innovator and thought leader in the field of global supply chain & operations management, is a frequent invited speaker and panelist at leading forums, and is the co-author of three books, including “Supercharging Supply Chains: Creating Shareholder Value through Operations Excellence”.
Dr. Gopal currently is a Senior Fellow at the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management, Claremont Graduate University. He also serves as an Advisory Board Member to various supply chain service and technology companies, and acts as an advisor to a major think tank.
Chris holds a PhD from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management, UK.
