Biography

Barbara Fitch is an accomplished Supply Chain leader with over 17 years of experience in the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical industry.  Barbara’s experience spans across multiple Fortune 500 companies within clinical and commercial operations, including demand and supply planning, production scheduling, procurement, trade compliance, and data management.  Barbara specializes in process optimization and has led multiple complex, cross-functional change management initiatives to create new transformational capabilities and optimize existing processes.

In her current role, Barbara leads a global team to drive process improvements and deliver results for the end to end supply chain including: planning, raw material sourcing, warehousing, transportation, distribution, inventory optimization, lifecycle management and data management. Barbara is passionate about developing talent and she enjoys the privilege of mentoring a network of supply chain professionals.

Prior to Amgen, Barbara worked at Pfizer and GlaxoSmithKline, leading scheduling operations for multiple manufacturing facilities, across various product lines and divisions and managing global procurement and supplier quality management.    She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University and a Master’s of Business Administration from the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University.
