Brian is a managing partner of Retail Systems Research LLC (“RSR”). RSR provides insight into business and technology challenges facing the extended retail industry and provides thought leadership and advice on navigating these challenges for specific companies and the industry at large.
Kilcourse has been recognized as one of the Premier 100 IT Leaders by Computerworld magazine (March 2001). and by Information Week as leader of the #1 retail IT shop (#9 overall in the InformationWeek 500 survey, 2001).
Kilcourse has been a member of several technology company advisory boards, including Borland, Evant, Intelleflex, and GoldenGate.
Previously, Brian was the CEO of Retail Systems Alert Group (RSAG) from July 2006 to June 2007. Prior to that, Brian was a strategic advisor to “Silicon Valley” startups, including Centerboard, Intelleflex, Euclid, GoldenGate, and others. Brian was SVP & CIO at Longs Drug Stores for ten years from 1993 through 2002.
