Chris Longhito is the Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer for Global Industrial, a value-added national distributor of industrial products and MRO supplies based in Port Washington, NY.  With extensive product knowledge and a solutions-based approach, Global Industrial utilizes a team of subject matter experts, products from its Global Industrial Exclusive BrandsTM, and national vendor relationships to help customers succeed.  Global Industrial’s North America distribution network is dedicated to shipping with speed and quality while providing value for customers.  Longhito leads teams driving demand and supply planning, purchasing, distribution operations and operational excellence, global inbound and outbound transportation, and safety.  

Chris graduated from Loyola University in Maryland in 2001 and spent his early career in continually escalating roles within supply chain at Henry Schein, the world’s largest distributor of office-based dental and medical supplies before transitioning to a supply chain optimization leadership role within Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare, a leader in durable medical equipment.  In this role, he developed and implemented sales and operations planning and partnered with third party manufacturers and carriers to improve inventory availability and turns, and lower COGS.

Chris is a data-driven, innovation-focused leader who believes in associate engagement and development and empowerment of frontline leaders to deliver world-class results.  He and his wife and four children live in Long Island, New York and enjoy spending time together outdoors.
