Ken serves as the President and CEO of Gemini Shippers Association, a leading shippers association in North America.  Ken also serves as President of Bluspark. Bluspark delivers tech-enabled consulting, procurement, and logistics operations services to shippers and shipper associations.  Prior to joining Gemini, Ken served as a founder of bigboxSMALLBOX, an analytics consulting and SaaS firm which merged to form Orion Capital Group.  Prior to founding bigboxSMALLBOX, Ken spent over 20 years in the liner shipping industry with APL and Hapag Lloyd.  He held various senior trade management and operating roles including the profit and Loss (P&L) management of all of APL’s U.S. touch trades culminating in management of APL’s transpacific P&L as Senior Vice President of the Transpacific Trade.  Ken received his Bachelor of Science degree in Maritime Administration from Texas A&M and received a Master of Science degree in Business Analytics from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University as well as a Master of Science degree in Homeland and Cyber Security from Farleigh Dickinson University.  Ken serves as Vice Chairman of the Federal Maritime National Shippers Advisory Committee.  In 2022, Ken was nominated to serve in the Biden Harris Administrations Freight Logistics Optimization Works (FLOW) program administered by the Department of Transportation.
