Biography

Molly C. Campbell is currently Director of the Port Department at The Port Authority of New
York and New Jersey. She is responsible for the management and operation of the Port of New
York and New Jersey, the largest port on the East Coast of North America and the third largest
in the country. Under Molly’s leadership, the 50-foot Harbor Deepening Project has been
completed, as well asthe raising of the Bayonne Bridge d in September which accommodateslarger
ships. The Council on Port Performance, which she co-chairs, has brought port industry
stakeholders together to develop several initiatives to increase port productivity, resiliency and
sustainability.

Ms. Campbell manages the agency’s port operation, including facility maintenance, capital
programs, environmental initiatives, port performance, and other special projects dedicated to
continued sustainability and modernization of port infrastructure. Ms. Campbell is also responsible
for the Port’s relationships with maritime industry stakeholders, including marine terminal
operators, intermodal and trucking partners, national and international logistics business cargo
owners, and global leaders in port operations.
Prior to joining the Port Authority, Ms. Campbell was a leading executive at the Port of Los Angeles for
nearly 15 years, serving as Chief Financial Officer in 2000 and Deputy Executive Director
b eg in n in g in January 2007. Molly also served as Director of Financial Management Systems
at Los Angeles World Airports. In addition to her diverse background in public transportation,
Ms. Campbell also played active roles in national and international logistics associations and
currently serves as the International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH) North American Vice
President.

Molly served in key leadership roles with the City of Los Angeles and the Walt Disney Company in
capital and other financial development roles. She also served on the Planning Commission for the
City of Long Beach and is a member of the Board of Directors for East-West Bank Corporation,
headquartered in Pasadena, CA.

Ms. Campbell holds a Master’s degree from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree from
the University of California, Los Angeles. She is also an AAPA Certified Port Professional Manager
(AAPA/PPM®).

Molly is a New York City resident and has two adult children.
