Matt leads the subcontracts organization for the Military Aircraft Systems and Military Surveillance and Targeting Divisions at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS). Matt is also the enterprise relationship manager for the UTC Aerospace Systems Strategic Partnership and leads University Recruitment and Relations for the NGAS Global Supply Chain.
Matt was previously the Subcontracts Director for Rancho Bernardo and Palmdale Programs. Before rejoining subcontracts in 2015, Matt’s prior two assignments were on the Trainer X Capture Program, most recently as the Program Integration Team Director and before that as the GSC Program Manager.
Prior to the Trainer X Program, Matt was a financial management consultant at KPMG, LLC where he led production and engineering optimization projects for aerospace and defense clients.
Matt’s previous experience at Northrop Grumman focused primarily on aircraft capture programs, including the U.S. Air Force KC-45 program and special programs within Advanced Programs and Technology, where he held various GSC positions.
Basco holds a B.A. in International Relations (Global Business) from the University of Southern California, an MBA from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business, as well as a Systems Engineering Certificate from California Institute of Technology, Industrial Relations Center.
