Uday Idnani joined Impossible Foods in January 2020 as Vice President of Sales and Operations Planning. Uday has more than 17 years of experience in managing large scale programs for Fortune 100 companies, both in management consulting and industry leadership roles.
Before joining Impossible, Uday was Head of Platforms at Google where he managed Sales and Operations Planning, Demand Planning teams, worked on forecasting Google Fiber subscriber growth across cities in collaboration with many cross-functional teams. During this time, Uday designed and led the build of a production ready forecasting engine from the ground-up.
Uday also previously worked as Head of Partner Operations at Silver Spring Networks where he was responsible for Contract Manufacturing and OEM operations for network infrastructure products. Before that, he was a consulting manager at Ernst & Young.
Uday has an MBA in finance operations from University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. He earned his Master’s in Science from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Uday is now based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
