Brian is the Continuous Improvement Director for IDEX Health and Science and has responsibility for five sites. He is recognized as a results-oriented problem solver specializing in larger, more complex issues within an organization. Previous positions held have been Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Process Engineer, QA/RA Manager, Project Manager, Operational Excellence, Production Supervisor, Consultant, and site Director of CI. Brian holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from Western Washington University along with being Lean Bronze Certified (LBC) and a Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB).
Over the past three years, he has been working extensively with supply chain professionals on Plan for Every Part (PFEP) and exceptions-based process management. Brian’s contribution statement reads “creating a sustainable culture of solving real and relevant problems.” He supports a continuous improvement culture through teaching the scientific method utilizing Toyota Kata while solving problems relevant to business needs.
