Alessandra De Sousa is the North America procurement director and international supply chain leader at Chipotle Mexican Grill. She is responsible for strategic sourcing key ingredients and indirect items for the US stores. She is also responsible for setting up the right supply chain strategy to enter new markets and enable the global growth.

Prior to Chipotle, Mrs. De Sousa was the head of Supply Chain International at Taco Bell, and was able to unlock the international growth from 200 to over 1,000 stores. She led the supply chain transformational strategy to enable right operating model. Mrs. De Sousa has also led the demand planning and inventory control at Pilgrims Pride and was responsible for developing their core supply chain capabilities.

Mrs. De Sousa received her food engineering degree from Universidade Catolica do Parana, Brazil and her Master of Supply Chain Management from USC in California. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
