Romi Datta is a member of the Trojan family, having started his life in US nearly 17 years back at the Master’s program in USC’s College of Engineering, while working at the Bookstore folding t-shirts, shelving books and managing the cash register. He subsequently went on to complete his Masters and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he was Chair for Student Affairs for the Student Advisory Council. Currently he is Program Director responsible for Blockchain based Supply Chain products at IBM. He has held several business and technical leadership roles at IBM, Intel, Nvidia and Texas Instruments. He has co-authored over a dozen international publications and is a co-inventor of 9 patents.
