Chris Doherty is a Senior Manager in EY’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services practice and leads EY’s sustainability services on the US West Coast covering sectors while also leading its Sustainable Supply Chain service offering.
Chris has a business management background and 10+ years of experience working in climate change and sustainability in South East Asia, Australia and the US. With EY Chris spends his time auditing and advising clients on managing environmental, social, economic and governance risks and opportunities with particular focus on sustainable supply chains as well as greenhouse gas (GHG) measurement and reporting, sustainability measurement and reporting, ESG risk and due diligence, sustainable finance and Green Bonds, and measuring social value.
Recently Chris has presented publically on supply chain sustainability and the circular economy at the US Business Council for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Supply Chain Leadership Council’s annual conference as well ESG risk and opportunity at Bloomberg’s ESG 2.0 Moving Beyond Definitions.
Prior to joining EY Chris consulted in GHG management and implemented carbon sequestration and community development projects for NGOs in Australia and South East Asia.
While originally from Australia, Chris now lives in San Francisco. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma Sustainability Studies and Climate Policy, certificates in GHG Accounting & Advanced GHG Compliance and is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
