Jon Slangerup has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of American Global Logistics since April 2017. Slangerup’s career began in military and commercial aviation, leading to a distinguished 20-year career with FedEx where he advanced to become President of FedEx Canada, a billion-dollar subsidiary of the global logistics leader. Prior to joining AGL, Slangerup served as CEO of the Port of Long Beach, a primary U.S. gateway processing $180 billion per year in trans-Pacific trade. With domain expertise in multi-modal logistics and supply chain technologies, Slangerup during his career has built businesses throughout North America, Europe and Asia, serving customers in more than 100 countries.
