Jim Morton is an Executive Director with Ernst & Young LLP. Jim is based in Jacksonville, FL, and he leads EY’s US logistics consulting practice. He has 20+ years of combined management consulting and industry experience in supply chain management with a focus in consumer products, retail, and life sciences. He previously worked at UPS as both a consultant and an R&D engineer. He has significant experience in supply chain network optimization, third-party logistics, transportation / fleet management, global trade, warehousing, reverse logistics, IT implementation, and project management. He has buy-side and sell-side experience with supply chain operations in large scale transactions. He has presented and been published in a number of supply chain forums. He has been awarded four US patents for developing supply chain related technology. Jim holds Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Science degrees, both in Electrical Engineering, from the University of Virginia.
