Marc Goodfriend is the Chief Executive Officer of WeShip Express and a recognized innovator, public speaker, and expert in e-commerce logistics. With over 20 years of experience across logistics, SaaS, and supply chain strategy, Marc has built a reputation for driving growth and operational transformation in regulated direct-to-consumer (DTC) markets.

Under Marc’s leadership, WeShip Express has more than doubled its revenue, establishing itself as a leading provider in the DTC alcohol logistics space. The company’s rapid growth significantly outpaced industry benchmarks and culminated in a successful private equity transaction in 2023.

Marc is also a serial entrepreneur, having founded multiple profitable ventures focused on last-mile delivery and regulated e-commerce. He serves on the board of WeShip Express and the National Association of Wine Retailers, where he advocates for policies that support the growth and modernization of the wine retail industry.

Before joining WeShip, Marc led the global partnerships team at Narvar, a pioneer in post-purchase customer experience software, where he built the global carrier and 3PL ecosystem supporting hundreds of brands and over 400 logistics integrations.

Earlier in his career, Marc held leadership roles at Airborne Express, DHL Express, DHL eCommerce, and Newgistics, where he played a key role in launching influential products such as SmartLabel Returns and DHL’s Metro same-day delivery platform.

Originally from Austin, Texas, Marc now resides in Kansas City, Missouri with his wife Kelly, sons Sam and Eli, and their dog Stark. Outside of work, he enjoys international travel and boating at the Lake of the Ozarks with friends and family.
