Alireza Kabirian is a supply chain management professional, consultant, and educator. He has extensive experience in global trade, having led a company in trading heavy equipment worldwide. Before joining USC Marshall, Dr. Kabirian held academic positions at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management, California State University-Northridge, and the University of Alaska-Anchorage.
Dr. Kabirian earned his PhD in Industrial Engineering-Operations Research from Iowa State University. His research focuses on simulation optimization and supply chain management, with numerous publications in top journals and presentations at international conferences.
Recognized for his excellence in teaching, Dr.Kabirian has received multiple awards. He teaches courses on Operations and Supply Chain Management, Sourcing and Procurement, Six Sigma, and Business Analytics.
