Biography

Bob Wolpert is Corporate Senior Vice President, Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer for Golden State Foods (GSF), a diverse, $5 billion supplier to more than 125,000 quick-service restaurants and retail stores in 40 countries on five continents for more than 100 leading brands from its 50 locations worldwide. He champions GSF’s strategic planning process and helps to foster GSF’s ongoing commitment to innovation.

Bob’s work on behalf of GSF and its customers focuses on digital innovations in supply chain applications for blockchain, IoT, and AI. This includes the onboarding of a new IBM Food Trust offering called Hyper InsightsTM. Bob represents GSF on the IBM Food Trust Ecosystem Advisory Council and serves as Chair of the Council.

Previously, Bob was President of GSF’s Logistics Business Group, leading the U.S. and international supply chain services for iconic food industry customers. Prior to GSF, Bob served in a number of executive leadership roles, including President of an ITT Corporation global division with responsibility for worldwide sales, engineering, manufacturing, and distribution of pumps, filters, and control systems. Concurrently, Bob served as CEO of ITT Corporation’s businesses in China and India, including regional and global manufacturing and supply chain operations across multiple product lines and markets.

Bob earned his Bachelor of Science in Business with honors from the University of Denver and an MBA from Harvard University. Active in his community, he serves in leadership roles on a variety of non-profit boards, including Starbuck’s LeadersUp and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. Bob resides in Orange County, California with his wife and three children.
