Biography

Craig Mygatt was appointed CEO of Ceres Terminals Holdco in March 2020 with responsibility for Ceres activities at 18 port locations in North America.

Prior to this appointment, Craig was appointed CEO of SeaLand in January 2014 and was responsible for all Maersk Line activity in the North American / Latin American trade lanes. The business was carved out of Maersk Line and acted as an independent operator in the Americas.

Previously Craig was appointed Senior Vice President of Maersk Line’s NAM Inland Operations in July 2011 and responsible for all activities relating to intermodal services and contracting, domestic transportation services, equipment control and dispatch operations.

In 2008 he was appointed Senior Director of Commercial Planning responsible for Maersk Line’s corporate sales activities including sales processes, campaigning, sales data management, marketing, pricing execution, allocations and yield, and corporate sales activities.

Mr. Mygatt joined Maersk Line in March 1989 and has held positions of increasing responsibility within Pacific Services, Global Sales, New York Sales, Central American Services, Regional Sales and Documentation.

Mr. Mygatt graduated from the University of Vermont and received a Master of Science from the University of Denver. He serves as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Maryland. Mr. Mygatt is married to Marla and has three children, Taylor, Ryan and Braden.
