Pete Stathis is the Vice President of Risk Management and Vendor Operations for RH.
In this role, Pete is responsible for Risk Management along providing working capital
solutions for RH’s merchant suppliers with annual spend of approximately $1B.
Pete has been with RH for 5 years and has over 30 years of public and private accounting
experience with broad financial experience in the high-tech, manufacturing and software
industries. In his role at RH, Pete has primary responsibility for ensuring suppliers can
maintain lead times by providing them access to capital. By partnering with Bank of
America, RH has provided its suppliers with early access to liquidity while improving
working capital and the operating cycle.

Born and raised just north of San Francisco, Pete started his career as an auditor with
KPMG and subsequently moved into the technology industry where he served as the
Controller for the Internetworking Group of Ascend Communications. Ascend
Communications was one of the pioneer companies in providing network access solutions
for corporate networks. In this role, Pete managed an international team of 80 people.
Ascend was acquired by Lucent Technologies in 1999 for $20B. Pete subsequently worked
in many technology start-ups where he was responsible for implementing the financial
infrastructure for these entities.

Later in his career, looking for a career change, Pete made a switch from the technology
industry to the retail sector where he enjoys participating in the next generation
expansion of RH.

Pete earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University,
Sacramento and became a Certified Public accountant during his tenure at KPMG. Pete is
fluent in Greek and in his spare time enjoys coaching youth basketball.
