Ryan Hammer currently serves as Corporate Vice President and President, GSF logistics. This includes overseeing the company’s distribution company, Quality Custom Distribution, as well as Central Freight Management, Centralized Leasing Corp., and other strategic logistics initiatives. A two-year GSF executive, Ryan joined the company in 2017 as Corporate Vice President and President, Quality Custom Distribution. Since then, he has demonstrated his leadership effectiveness in growing the organization and championing superior customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Ryan currently serves on the company’s Senior Executive Team.
An industry veteran of nearly two decades, Ryan brought a wealth of experience to GSF and QCD, having served in many key positions with PepsiCo across North America and in Dallas, Texas for more than 15 years. Throughout his career, Ryan was managed operations, sales, and people, with outstanding results. Ryan served in multiple distribution center General Manager positions throughout the U.S., including Southern and Northern California, Las Vegas, and Denver, one of the largest distribution and production centers for all of PepsiCo. He also served as Vice President of Sales for PepsiCo’s Mountain Region, where he was responsible for $1.2 billion in revenue. Over this three-year period, Ryan and his team delivered the country’s best profit growth performance, employee satisfaction scores, and was also a key developer and exporter of talent for the broader North America business. Ryan later served as Vice President of PepsiCo Mega Cities – North America, where he was the primary lead in developing the total PepsiCo urban markets growth strategy that focused on all mega cities where populations consisted of 5 million or greater. He was responsible for $7 billion in revenue, impacting 16 major cities across the U.S. and Canada geographies.
Originally from Aliso Viejo, California, Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University, and his Master of Executive Management from Colorado University. Ryan and his wife, Ali, currently reside in Dallas, Texas, and they have two daughters, Kambri and Blakely. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys being with his family, going to church, outdoor activities and traveling.
