Biography

Shannon Leffler joined GEODIS in August 2007 and serves as the Executive Vice President of Human Resources across the Americas Region. Shannon leads a world-class human resources team encompassing talent acquisition and management, human resources information systems, total rewards, and employee engagement. She has served in several key human resources positions throughout her 14 years with GEODIS, including managing the regional human resources network (US, Canada, and Latin America), and has a deep knowledge of the logistics industry. She has a proven record of developing and implementing innovative programming to facilitate engagement and retention. She has also led enterprise high-volume recruiting efforts during peak season and spearheaded the creation of seasonal, part-time, and variable hours employment categories to harness the power of flexible scheduling.

She graduated from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, and holds SHRM-SCP and SPHR professional designations. She is active in several non-profit organizations including United Way, Carlisle Arts Learning Center, Community Cares, and the LEAF Project. Shannon and her husband Dave have 4 adult children and divide their time between Nashville, TN, and Carlisle, PA.
