Anthony Savelli has more than 20 years of experience leading pharmaceutical and supply chain management, procurement, and community-based health projects in Africa, Asia, and Europe. He gained extensive experience in health systems strengthening, capacity building, grants management, and community health as chief of party for both the Afghanistan Health Services Enhancement Project and Rural Expansion of Afghanistan’s Community-based Healthcare (REACH) project. More recently, Mr. Savelli was the Project Director of the USAID Procurement and Supply Management Project, the interim chief of party for the Kenya Pharma project, and backstopped the Rwanda Family Health project. As a Peace Corps volunteer in Dominica, he served as the interim director of pharmacy in a 280-bed hospital where he designed and launched an outpatient pharmacy. Mr. Savelli has a Bachelor’s in pharmacy and a Master’s in public and international affairs both from the University of Pittsburgh.
