C.J. also serves as a Policy and Steering Committee Member for the Center for International Trade and Transportation, as the Chair of the Institute for Supply Management committee in the Supply Chain Optimization group for the Ports of LA and Long Beach, on the Professional Global Trade and Logistics Regional Advisory Board to California Community Colleges, and the Operations and Supply Chain Advisory Board for California State University Long Beach.
She has been an invited speaker at the USC Marshall School of Business, California State University Long Beach, California State University Dominguez Hills, The Global Trade and Logistics Regional Summit, The Boys and Girls Club, and the APICS Executive Symposium. She has been quoted in the Los Angeles Times Business section, as well as The Wall Street Journal.
C.J.’s decades in manufacturing, and family background, as the daughter of a steel worker, drive her passion for U.S. manufacturing, along with the belief in the practical application of education to build skills that can go directly from classroom to career.
Through volunteering C.J. has worked to build a strong network alliance along all Southern California supply chain organizations in order to support a vigorous economy for our state that directly benefits the families in our communities.
C.J. is a Certified Purchasing Manager, a certification obtained through The Institute for Supply Management.
