John Pandol

John Pandol is Director of Special Projects for Pandol Brothers, a commission merchant of fresh grapes, blueberries, and other produce based in California’s San Joaquin Valley. After graduating from the USC Marshall School of Business (’82) with an emphasis on International Marketing, John pursued additional agriculture studies at Universidad Catolica de Chile. John is part of the team that continually evaluates sources, customers, and all points and processes in between. He spent decades in Chile and Mexico developing supplier relationships and logistics, managed the California Export sales desk, and currently leads business development with U.S. supermarket and wholesale customers as well as government relations in North and South America. Very active in business advocacy, trade shows and a frequent contributor to industry fora, John jokingly claims to be the digital and physical presence of Pandol Brothers. As he says – “Some people want to know where their food comes from; far fewer ask how it gets there. Let’s change that.”
