Bethany Abbate
Director of Artificial Intelligence Policy of SIIA
Bethany Abbate is the Director of Artificial Intelligence Policy at the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), a role to enhance SIIA’s advocacy and support for its members on critical AI-related policy issues at the state, federal and international levels. She has previous government affairs and consulting experience across a range of policy domains including technology, cybersecurity and financial services. Bethany’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Civic Communication and Media from Willamette University and a Master of Arts in Strategy, Cybersecurity, and Intelligence from Johns Hopkins University’s School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
