Daniel Salter

Daniel Salter is a seasoned coalition builder, specializing in uniting global companies to address complex sustainability challenges and drive tangible impact. As a Senior Engagement Manager for The Climate Pledge at Amazon, he was instrumental in scaling the initiative to over 600 companies. Currently, he leads the Electrifying Drayage Alliance (EDA), a global effort to fast-track the adoption of electric trucking in major port ecosystems.

Before his time at Amazon, Daniel spearheaded international projects at Tesco focused on forest protection and responsible sourcing within agricultural supply chains. His leadership included chairing a coalition of more than 200 companies and investors under the Cerrado Manifesto to combat land-use change in Brazil and fostering industry-wide collaborations for greater transparency in palm oil and soy sourcing.

Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development and Corporate Responsibility from EOI Business School.
