Maia Benson is the Chief Commercial Officer for GCG, bringing over 20 years of experience building and scaling SaaS businesses in high-growth corporate environments. She is recognized for her transformative work as Shopify’s second U.S. employee, where she grew shipping and fulfillment into $Bs in shipping spend, $1 billion investment in Shopify Fulfillment Network and investments in Six River Systems and GlobalE.  Before GCG, Maia scaled venture-backed FlavorCloud as their Chief Business Officer partnering with the best global 3PLs in the market and lead Pitney Bowes into the multi carrier shipping world by building and scaling SendPro.  An active investor, Board member, and dedicated educator, her career is marked by customer-obessed and data-driven GTM rooted in entrepreneurial first principles and passion for accelerating global commerce and logistics into the AI age.
