Tim Ryder

Tim Ryder is a seasoned team leader with more than 23 years of experience developing teams and driving enterprise sales success. Tim leads Microsoft’s US High Tech and Process Manufacturing practices, providing strategic leadership for AI Frontier transformation. The High Tech and Process Manufacturing team helps customers achieve greater business agility and optimized capital use by engaging customers in new ways, expanding employee productivity, optimizing business processes, and bending the curve on product innovation. Committed to understanding critical business priorities and growth opportunities, Tim focuses on high-performance team development delivering impactful outcomes through technology and transformation.

Since joining Microsoft in 2003, Tim has held multiple leadership roles, including Western Region General Manager, and later US Manufacturing General Manager where he delivered strategy and industry expertise to hundreds of Microsoft’s largest enterprise customers. Throughout his career, Tim has demonstrated a passion for building high-performing teams, fostering inclusive cultures, and creating innovative solutions that empower customers to thrive in competitive markets.

Tim earned his bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara and his MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business. He resides in Huntington Beach, California with his wife, Megan, and their three sons. Committed to giving back, Tim actively supports community initiatives through organizations such as AYSO, and The McKenna Claire Foundation supporting pediatric cancer research. He is a board member on the Southeast Los Angeles Workforce Board.
